		---------------------------------------
		-- Arabella is a 3 deck card game --
		---------------------------------------
The screen is laid out in the following manner:
The Table is the 21 X 13 grid on the right side of the screen.
The Home position is the column of 12 grids at the left of the screen.
The Shuffled Deck is the grid at the top left corner of the screen.
The Discard Pile is the grid just below the Shuffled Deck.
The blue area only serves to visually separate the Table, Home, and Discard Pile from each other.

Moving cards from the Shuffled Deck:
When the mouse is clicked on the Shuffled Deck a card is turned over and placed on the Discard Pile.
Cards are not returned to the Shuffled Deck.

It takes two steps to move a card:
Pick a card by clicking the mouse on the card.
This places a little mark on the card's upper left corner.
The mouse is then clicked on the destination.
If the move is good, the card disappears at the old location and shows up at the new.
If the move is bad, the mark is removed.

Moving cards from the Discard Pile:
Cards are moved to a Home position or to the Table.
Cards are not returned to the Discard Pile

Moving a card to Home:
Cards of the same color are stacked from 1 to 13 at a Home position.
The entire stack is considered as a single group.

Moving a card to the table:
A 13 card is the only card that can be placed at the left end of an empty row.
any other cards are placed at the first empty grid to the right of another card.
The number on the moved card has to be one less than the number on the card to its left.
The colors of the cards do not need to match.
If the colors of the two cards are the same, they can be moved together as a Group

Moving Groups:
The cards moved from a Home position to the Table are always moved as a group.
Cards moved from the Table to any other place can be moved one at a time or as a group.

The end of the game:
The game is won when the 12 Home positions are filled with all the cards.

Tapping a key on the keyboard terminates the game.
The game does not provide for saving the game, or undoing a bad move.

Some things to think about:
Try to keep at least one row empty all the time.
This allows placement of a 13 card so that it can be moved from other places on the Table
or when it appears on the Discard Pile.

Try "NOT" to have three or more empty rows at a time.
Emptying too many rows limits the number of cards that can be played on the table.

Try to build groups whenever possible.
Try to place the number 13 cards on the left of each row whenever possible.
Try to place cards in their home position whenever possible.
Try to play every card you can from the Discard Pile whenever possible.
The more cards left on the Discard Pile the harder it is to win.

Many times it helps to move cards back from their Home postition to the Table

I hope you enjoy playing this game as much as I do.
It takes about two hours to play to a win.
There is a learning curve at first, but as far as being hard,
I would say that this game is usually winnable.
